Wire EN 50189 – we pass to the European standards

Egoza barbed wire will be made of hot dip galvanized wire EN 50189 – we are moving to European standards. Leading Ukrainian manufacturers of wire switched to European standards and began to produce wire that complies with EN 50189. This wire is optimally suited for the production of our Egoza barbed wire, in addition, the use of international standards in production makes it much easier to work with foreign partners.

The Egoza razor wire requires high-quality raw materials for its production, and the EN 50189 wire just meets all the necessary requirements. The tensile strength of the wire EN 50189 is at least 1600 N/mm2, which is enough for any type of barbed wire that we manufacture.

The thickness of the hot dip zinc coating for wire with a diameter of up to 2.8 mm is from 80 g/m2, and for a wire with a diameter of 2.8 mm and more, the hot dip zinc coating is not less than 100 g/m2. Given the fact that 3/4 galvanized wire is crimped with razor tape, a zinc coating of 80-100 g/m2 is enough for our razor wire to serve for a long time and effectively protect the protected objects.
